What this guide covers

Understand the exam

NEET and JEE are competitive entrance exams with negative marking. Scores in mocks go up and down; one bad test is normal.

Help with routine

A fixed wake-up time, regular meals, a quiet study space and seven to eight hours of sleep matter more than extra hours of study.

Keep pressure manageable

Ask about what your child studied, not only about marks. Avoid comparing with other students.

Coaching and material decisions

More coaching or more books rarely help late in the year. One good set of notes, NCERT, PYQs and mocks is usually enough.

Revise this faster: NEET PCB Complete Notes — handwritten, colour-coded notes with points often asked, PYQs and tricks in every chapter.

Around results

Plan backup options in advance, so a disappointing result does not feel like the end.

The short version

Support routine, sleep and calm; ask about effort, not just marks; keep material simple; and plan backups early.
