Paper Predict accuracy: NEET, CBSE, JEE and CUET results — Paper Predict Notes

Any platform that predicts exam questions should be willing to show how those predictions turned out. Paper Predict compares its predicted questions with the actual papers after each exam and publishes the results in its accuracy reports.

This article summarises the reported results, explains why accuracy differs between exams, and covers what those numbers should and should not change about the way you prepare.

What this guide covers

The reported results

These are the accuracy figures Paper Predict has reported so far.

  • NEET 2025: 80% accuracy
  • NEET 2026: 80% accuracy
  • CBSE Class 12 boards 2026: 70% accuracy
  • JEE Main 2026 (April session): 55% accuracy
  • CUET 2026: 65% accuracy

The reports on Paper Predict's website are the source for these figures. If you want to see the detail behind a result, that is the place to look.

How the comparison works

After an exam, the actual paper is set against the questions Paper Predict published beforehand. The comparison is made at the level of concepts, because exam setters rarely repeat a question word for word. A predicted question counts towards accuracy when the concept it tested appeared in the paper.

This is the right way to measure prediction for students. What matters in the exam hall is whether you had already practised the idea being tested, not whether the wording was identical.

Why NEET predictions have been the most accurate

NEET has shown the highest reported accuracy, at 80% in both 2025 and 2026. There are clear reasons why NEET suits prediction well.

NEET is closely tied to NCERT

Most NEET questions, especially in Biology, can be traced to specific lines, tables and diagrams in NCERT textbooks. A fixed, well-defined source makes patterns in previous papers stronger and more reliable.

Biology is half the paper

Biology accounts for 90 of the 180 questions. Biology concepts repeat across years more consistently than numerical problems do, which lifts overall accuracy.

The paper structure is stable

NEET uses a consistent format of multiple-choice questions, which makes it easier to compare predictions with the actual paper year after year.

CBSE Class 12: 70%

The reported accuracy for CBSE Class 12 boards in 2026 was 70%. CBSE boards have a stable syllabus and an official sample paper each year, which helps prediction. But two factors make boards somewhat harder to predict than NEET.

  • Many subjects. Boards span Science, Commerce and Arts, each with its own patterns.
  • Changing question formats. CBSE has been increasing competency-based, case-based and source-based questions, which can test familiar concepts in less familiar ways.

CUET 2026: 65%

CUET domain papers are largely based on the Class 12 NCERT syllabus, which supports prediction. However, CUET is a newer exam than NEET or CBSE boards, so there are fewer years of previous papers to analyse. As more papers accumulate, the pattern base grows.

JEE Main 2026: 55%

JEE Main had the lowest reported accuracy, at 55% for the April 2026 session. That is expected for several reasons.

  • Multiple sessions and shifts. JEE Main is held across sessions and shifts with different papers, which spreads questions over a wider range.
  • Problem-solving focus. Physics and Maths questions are built around problem types that can be combined in many ways, so the same concept can appear in very different forms.
  • Less dependence on a single textbook. Compared with NEET, JEE questions draw less directly on NCERT wording.

Even at 55%, predictions help you prioritise. They indicate which concepts are more likely, while still leaving room to prepare broadly.

What these numbers mean for your preparation

Use predictions to prioritise, not to replace the syllabus

Even the highest figure, 80%, leaves a meaningful share of the paper outside the predictions. Cover the full syllabus at least once, then use predictions to decide where to spend extra time.

Adjust how much you rely on predictions by exam

  • NEET: predictions are a strong guide for revision order, especially in Biology.
  • CBSE boards and CUET: use predictions alongside the official sample paper and PYQs.
  • JEE Main: use predictions to choose which concepts to strengthen first, but keep doing broad problem practice.

Combine predictions with PYQs

Previous year questions show how a concept is usually tested. Predictions show what is likely next. Solving PYQs first and then working through high-probability predicted questions gives you both.

How Paper Predict Notes uses the same analysis

Paper Predict Notes is the notes vertical of Paper Predict. The same analysis behind these predictions decides what the notes highlight in every chapter.

  • Points often asked collect the facts with the strongest exam history.
  • Must remember lines mark statements you should not skip.
  • PYQ tags put previous year questions next to the topic they test.

The notes give you the complete chapter, so you understand it fully. The highlighting reflects where the predictions point.

Questions students often ask about accuracy

Does 80% accuracy mean I will know 80% of the paper?

It means that, by Paper Predict's comparison, 80% of the paper matched concepts it had predicted. How much of the paper you can answer still depends on how well you prepared those concepts.

Why not predict 100% of the paper?

Exams are designed to test the full syllabus, and setters introduce new angles every year. No honest prediction system can cover everything.

Will accuracy be the same next year?

Not necessarily. Accuracy depends on how each year's paper is set. That is why Paper Predict publishes results after every exam rather than quoting a single fixed number.

Where can I check the results myself?

The accuracy reports are published on Paper Predict's website.

The short version

Paper Predict reported 80% accuracy for NEET 2025 and 2026, 70% for CBSE Class 12 boards 2026, 65% for CUET 2026 and 55% for JEE Main 2026. Accuracy is highest where exams are tied closely to NCERT and follow a stable pattern. Use predictions to set priorities, cover the full syllabus once, and check the accuracy reports for the detail behind each figure.
